My personal experiences:
I have used all of the above many times, and so far no problems
whatsoever
except for asiaroom ( Only one time after several occasions of
hassle-free, in Dubai, they, the staff of asiarooms, accidentally
cancelled my hotel booking despite having made payment and showing them
my voucher and so I had to call from the hotel in Dubai at 2am to
asiarooms to rectify their mistake. After 30 minutes, then the mistake
was corrected and the hotel in Dubai allowed us to check in. This was
the only setback I experienced in the past 5 years)
Oh yes, I also had the wonderful experience of staying in 5 star
hotels and only paying 50% of the room rates through last-minute bookings. (
The only criteria is that you can only make bookings within two weeks
from your departure date and not earlier.)
